( part 2 ) Herbs Plantation
In order to guarantee the continuity and stability of our final
products, PT Jamu Iboe Jaya maintains its own farm on a plantation
located in Pacet, East Java, Indonesia. Many rare species of plants
are grown there in mounds of mineral rich volcanic soil. Growing
our own plants allows us to monitor them and provides us with ample
opportunity for research and development to improve quality and
ensure consistency in our final products.
Manufacturing
Over time, PT Jamu Iboe Jaya has combined the ancient philosophy
about herbs with modern technology and manufacturing processes to
produce only the highest quality Jamu products. The automated manufacturing
process allows us to assure continuity of quality and our 200 employees
are highly trained professionals who quality control each step of
the process to ensure that all of our products are pure and consistent
in makeup. Supported by dedicated suppliers and distributors, PT
Jamu Iboe Jaya is able to provide the best service to its customers
from our 28,000 square meter factory complex by closely monitoring
every phase of the distribution process.
Research and Development
Since 1979, PT Jamu Iboe Jaya has been the pioneer
in Jamu research and modernization. We have shown that by monitoring
the growth of all raw materials, and using the latest technology
to improve the consistency of manufacturing, it is possible to produce
the highest quality product. But our commitment to quality isn't
limited to the raw materials and manufacturing. We were the first
Jamu manufacturer to use Pollycellonium for our product packaging,
assuring that our products are fresh when you receive them.
The PT Jamu Iboe Jaya Research and Development
Center is located in Tanjungsari Sidoarjo, a small city behind Surabaya.
Built in 1980, its specific purpose was to provide a state of the
art research facility for our research professionals, who took an
active role in the design of the laboratory.
Our staff includes research professionals with
experience in pharmacology, analytical chemistry, organic chemistry,
toxicology, biology, agronomy, and statistics, to name just some
of the disciplines involved. We employ only the best professionals
in each field.
Supported by our state of the art facility and
the best human resources, PT Jamu Iboe Jaya has been able to improve
on old Jamu formulas while developing new products in the process.
